SMTP server

SMTP (Simple Mail Transport Protocol) is the main protocol used to send electronic mail on the Internet. Silver, Gold and Platinum account holders are given access to their own smtp server for their domain to send mail.

Send on the move

Using you own smtp server enables you to send mail from different locations where you are using different ISPs, without the need to change your e-mail settings. Your smtp server will be of the form smtp.yourdomain.com and as an added bonus Virtual Server customers can also offer this facility to all domains they host.

Spam protection

Open smtp servers allow those who use network communication facilities as if they were broadcast media. In order to prevent your server being abused we require clients to check for e-mail on their pop server before they can send a new message.
